Polar Star expands its range of services: dry and universal containers

In 2025, Polar Star transported 27,000 TEU of temperature-controlled cargo across Russia and the world, and captured over 30% of the market share in refrigerated rail transport across the Russian Railways network.

In 2026, services will be expanded to include transportation in dry 20'/40' COC/SOC and general-purpose containers—now across Russia, the CIS, and worldwide.

The operator operates over 2,500 40-foot refrigerated containers, 52 energy containers, and 180 gensets. Its shipping geography covers China, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India, Latin America, and all key regions of Russia, including the Far East, Siberia, Yakutia, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kaliningrad.
