The Port of Taman is one of the youngest and most actively developed ports in southern Russia. The first vessel called here in 2008. Currently, the port has four marine cargo terminals with a combined throughput capacity of over 100 million tons of liquid, bulk, and general cargo. Shipping agent OOO "Universal Forwarder" provides a wide range of services for vessel calls at the port. The company organizes vessel berthing, towing and mooring operations, conducts state inspections, caters for vessel and crew needs at the request of the captain and shipowner, handles shipping documents, and acts as a payment agent for port dues and other expenses.
